Welcome to GreenHab: founded by architects with a background in sustainable design and a vision for a greener future.

We believe that many people want to contribute to the same vision but are confused by "greenwashing", outdated information and misconceptions of cost. We want to share our knowledge of how simple and cost effective it can be to green your home.

GreenHab provides a unique in-home consultation service to homeowners who want to upgrade their living environment by making it more green, sustainable and energy efficient.

We do this by:

Explaining the benefits of greening your home from simple upgrades to extensive renovations.

Assessing key components throughout your home that contribute to home energy use, water efficiency and environmental quality.

Providing a site analysis of your home's surroundings such as landscaping, irrigation and solar orientation.

Giving you the tools and information needed to access all of the tax incentives and rebates currently available.

Your consultation begins with an informal presentation to answer the question: what does it mean to "go green"? We will also provide some examples of what other homeowners have done to achieve their green goals.

We will then walk through your home and yard with a detailed checklist assessing such things as appliances, windows, lighting, furnishings and landscaping. As we find areas that could use a "greenhab" we will let you know what environmental advantages, cost savings and/or health benefits there are in doing so.

After a final review, we will provide you with a copy of your checklist and a report including tax incentives and rebate information available to help you achieve your own green goals.
