Rachel Menozzi, Principal
Rachel graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Architecture and a Minor in Environmental Design. She went on to receive her Masters degree in 2004 at the Southern California Institute of Architecture. In early 2009 she became a LEED accredited professional, a recognition established by the
USGBC ® (U.S. Green Building Council) as an expert in the field of sustainable design.
Throughout her professional career she has worked on several sustainable projects including some pursuing LEED certification. They have ranged from selecting no-VOC materials and Energy Star appliances to installing photovoltaic and rainwater filtration systems. She decided to break from the traditional architecture firm and founded GreenHab; whose foundation lies on the principle of the Three R's: reduce, reuse and recycle. Although designing new, green buildings benefit the environment, nothing is more sustainable than keeping what you have and improving upon it.
Rachel believes that a greener future starts in the home and wants to share her knowledge with homeowners to help them conserve energy and natural resources, improve their health and the environment and to build a greener community.
